 Planning your destination wedding can be a stressful experience made easier by utilizing the services of a Destination Wedding Specialist. We'll help you plan the destination wedding of your dreams, including travel plans for your family & friends attending the big event and group activities throughout your stay. The hardest part will be deciding where to go!
Here are some things to consider before calling your travel agent.
- Destination -- would you like to be on a tropical beach?, maybe a cruise ship?, the Vegas Strip?, or a secluded hideaway?
- Formal or informal -- ceremonies range from barefoot casual to formal.
- Number of Guests -- the low and high range of people attending your ceremony.
- The length of stay -- for resort destinations, guests can choose the length of stay. Cruises generally offer 3, 4, 5, and 7 day options.
- After the wedding -- the bride and groom can depart the ceremony resort, to begin their honeymoon at a nearby resort. Or, they can stay at the resort acting as hosts. Another idea is for the guests to leave the next day, after the wedding, with the bride and groom staying longer for their honeymoon.
- Budget – Try to get a good idea of how much money your guests would be willing to pay. You also need to consider the cost of the wedding ceremony, as well as, the honeymoon. Many of the all inclusive resorts will give you a free wedding as long as you are booking your honeymoon with them.
