Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica

by travelplanner

A palatial resort located in a secluded area on the Southeast coast of Jamaica. The beach here is flawless and although it isn’t private, it certainly feels that way! Tranquil waters and beach chairs to spare, beautiful grounds, a great pool and many amazing restaurants. What more could you ask for? Not recommended for people who want to get out and about to explore the area. Excursions are available (I recommend the YS Falls), but you can’t catch a cab and go into town. Did I mention that every room has a view of the ocean? Recommended for honeymoons, romantic getaways, weddings and couples getaways.

Jamaica’s Incredible South Coast

Discover Jamaica’s untouched South Coast at Sandals Whitehouse. This resort is set on two miles of powder sand beach amidst a 500 acre nature reserve, and is perfectly located near some of Jamaica’s most attractive and spectacular sights. Go on a tour of the Black River, see Crocodiles, and dive into the YS falls, or just see the endless sugar cane fields. Jamaica’s magnificent beauty is on full display at Sandals Whitehouse.

Three Unique Villages

Whitehouse has a European design and feel to it with three unique authentic European Villages. The Dutch Village, the Italian Village, and the French Village. All surrounded by acres of lush gardens. Better yet, no matter what village you stay at you will always have a view of the beach and the incredible cobalt blue Caribbean Sea. Rich Mahogany Wood, Plasma TVs and fully stocked bars await.

Seven Fabulous Restaurants

There are seven incredible restaurants to choose from at the Sandals Whitehouse. There is a restaurant for every day of the week. Choose Italian on Monday, Authentic Caribbean, on Tuesday, international buffet on Wednesday, Tex-Mex on Thursday, Asian Stir Fry, on Friday, try an informal Jamaican-style beach grill, and on Saturday, start your day with some pastries, crepes, and coffees from the Café de Paris.

Red Lane Spa

If you are a Spa lover, then prepare to fall in love, because every Sandals Resort has a superbly equipped 5 star diamond European spa. Cozy marbled treatment rooms with the scent of lemon grass filling the air make your whole body relax, while the cares of this world melt away. At the spa you can indulge yourself with hydrotherapeutic baths, steam baths, body wraps, saunas, massages, manicures, pedicures, and you can pretty much have them anywhere you want- in your suite or on the beach. Where ever you decide, the spa will transform you into a harmony of body, mind, and soul.

Tours and Excursions

Adventure in the south-west of Jamaica is easy to find: try zip-lining through the rainforest canopy or riding river currents in a kayak. Explore the mysterious Black River, the longest river in Jamaica, home to 12-foot crocodiles. For less adventure, but as much fun, swim with dolphins or climb nearby YS Falls, one of the islands’ most famous waterfalls.
