Charming and sophisticated, you feel like royalty as soon as you arrive. This resort is also in Montego Bay, Jamaica and is about 10 minutes from the airport. A more laidback environment, yet still fun and great entertainment, a unique feature this resort has is a private island. The island has a Thai restaurant on it for evening dining as well as a small pool and swim-up bar. There are plenty of places to relax and romance each other at this elegant resort. The swim-up suites are incredible! I recommend this resort for couples who want the perfect blend of relaxation and fun. Recommended for honeymoons, romantic getaways, and weddings.

Sandals Royal Caribbean offers two opposite sides of the world from its regal British Manor, service and décor-to the mystical Orient on the private offshore island just a few minutes from the resort. This resort is set along an incredible ribbon of white sand beach in Montego Bay. The resort’s British accent begins as soon as you arrive in the elegant lobby. Dazzling chandeliers, mahogany and marble floors along with a Georgian-style Great House surrounded by tropical gardens.

The Private Offshore Island

Just a few minutes away, an authentic dragon boat will transport you to the private island full of exotic adventures. There are many poolside and beachside pleasures during the day, and lively chic parties and bonfires at night. The famous Indonesian restaurant offers an authentic dining experience. Great Room Options

There are a number of great rooms that you can stay in at Sandals Royal Caribbean. All of the rooms here have now been re-modeled in the last few years as well. One of my personal favorites is the concierge suites in Kensington Cove. The atmosphere is quiet and there is a wonderful pool area along with a nice beach area to relax and rejuvenate on.

Swim-up Suites

The highlight of the rooms here are the Crystal Lagoon Swim-Up Suites. Here, the crystal lagoon pool is just steps away from your secluded patio. These rooms offer an experience like none you have ever experienced. Many honeymoon couples choose the walkout Swim-Up Crystal Lagoon Suite. It gives you a personal butler as well as the romance of a swim up room.

Seven Great Dining Options

There are six great ala carte restaurants on the resort itself and the famous Royal Thai restaurant on the Private Island. There is a different taste for all moods and pallets. Enjoy Indonesian flair on the Island, International cuisine with an ocean view at The Regency, French delicacies in a garden courtyard, authentic Jamaican dishes that will tingle your taste buds, as well as an English Pub and two causal beachside grills.
