Without a doubt, St. Lucia is my favorite island (thus far). It truly is the Hawaii of the Caribbean! I would describe this resort as luxurious and upscale, fun and romantic. There are amazing Rondoval Suites here that are very unique, and the resort sits on a peninsula at the Northern tip of the island, giving you a view of the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean! Dining options here are superb and the grounds are blossoming with tropical flowers and foliage. Great beach and water sports, plus complimentary transfers to the other two Sandals resorts on the island! Sites to see are the Pitons, the sulfur springs, the waterfalls and botanical gardens. So much to do…so little time! Recommended for honeymoons, romantic getaways, weddings and couples getaways.

Incredible Pools

There are 5 magnificent freshwater pools that await you at the Grande St. Lucian. There is an ocean front lagoon style pool that has plenty of hidden areas for all kinds of private swims with your honey. There is a more intimate heart-shaped pool that allows you to have a secret rendezvous right on the beach. There is a wonderful pool that is used for the Scuba certification as well. Flowing along the luxurious poolside suites is another lagoon pool where you can swim right up to your room. The main pool is the grandest of all and includes a lively swim-up bar and a tower where you can have a drink and watch the amazing St. Lucian sunset.

Incredible Room Views

Since the Sandals Grande St. Lucian is surrounded by the sea, most rooms and suites include amazing water views. All of the rooms are lavished with luxury such as plasma TVs, spa baths with whirlpool tubs, and four-post mahogany beds. Make sure you stay in in the exotic swim-up rooms where you can step from your living area into the clear waters of a lagoon pool. A stay in the Presidential Suite would be amazing as well. Of course the grandest of all are the Rondovals, suites that are built with a cool round design. These suites include private pools beside the beach. The Rondovals combine natural marble, stone, sea glass, and mosaic tiles that create unparalled elegance.

Incredible Food

You will have a culinary adventure at the Sandals Grande St. Lucian. There are 8 restaurants ranging from casual barefoot dining on the beach to the Italian surroundings at Toscanini’s. For a lighter menu, you can enjoy made-to-order crêpes at the charming French bistro at Josephine’s. It doesn’t matter where you eat, you will be gratified with some of the best food in the Caribbean.
